Virat Kohli sometimes comes across as outrageous, said Rahul Dravid at the Bangalore Literature Festival on Sunday. The wall also said Kohli’s pre-match statements made him cringe at times. “Virat sometimes comes across as outrageous and I cringe on reading his statements before a series. But if he can bring the best out of himself by needing the opposition, so be it,” Dravid said.
Kohli has been in top form for the last 2 years and became the first man to score Test double hundreds in four successive series last season.
The 28-year-old is also the leading run-scorer in ODIs this year and has struck his 32nd hundred last night as India clinched their seventh successive ODI series trumping New Zealand.
