London : Roger Federer after the Australian Open triumph made it clear that he has his eyes dead straight on the Wimbledon and the Swiss international did exactly that by beating Cilic in straight sets in the finals of the Wimbledon. Federer at the age of 35 became the oldest man to win Wimbledon in the open era. Even at this age, the GOAT – Greatest Of All Time (as some refer to call him) made it to the victory pedestal without losing a single set in the entire tournament. Federer had boycotted the Roland Garros to prepare himself for the grass courts of Wimbledon. The legend was seen tearing up with joy after the victory. "I always believed that I could maybe come back and do it again. And if you believe, you can go really, really far in your life, and I did that. And I'm happy I kept on believing and dreaming and here I am today for the eighth. It's fantastic." Federer said.
