Niagara Falls freezes

New York: The Niagara Falls, located on the US-Canada border, has partly frozen due to a recent cold wave that has hit parts of North America. Niagara falls has come to an icy halt as the six million cubic feet of water that typically flow over the falls every minute has frozen overTourists visiting the site said, "It's beautiful" and "the beauty also comes with a lot of cold right now." However, this is not the first time such a phenomenon has occurred. In January, another record-breakimg cold front managed to freeze the mighty falls in a 'polar vortex' that turned the cascading water to ice -and affected about 240 million people in the U.S. and Southern Canada.
