Maharashtra to form MIEB

Maharashtra : After deciding to set up 100 international schools across Maharashtra, now The Maharashtra government has announced that it will form its own international school board in the state. It will be an autonomous body, which will decide curriculum for the schools and conduct examinations. State Education Minister Vinod Tawde said that this will help students who can't afford an international-level education at private schools. Appointments on the MIEB (Maharashtra International Education Board ) will be made soon and an expert committee will be formed to decide curriculum for the schools.
