Former Karnataka Chief Minister Passes Away

Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister N. Dharam Singh aged 80 had passed away following a massive heart attack in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Ramaiah Hospital. The Congress Veteran was born on Christmas day 1936 and served as the Chief Minister during the first coalition government in Karnataka from May 28, 2004 to February 3, 2006. He also served as an MP from the Bihar Lok Sabha and was also a seven time legislator in the Jewargi assembly. He was the ruling party’s state unit president from 1999-2004.
