Following the Bihar fiasco, the Kerala unit of the Janata Dal (United) has voiced their protest against Nitish Kumar’s decision to break up the ‘Grand Alliance’ and join hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The Party state president and member of Rajya Sabha – M.P Veerendra Kumar said that he hopes the other MP’s of JD(U) stand united against this decision.
In Kerala, party secretary general Varghese George said Mr. Kumar’s decision is unacceptable to the Kerala unit. “If there is a strong resistance at the national level, we will stand with it. If not, we will have no other option but to come out and remain a State party,” he told TV channels.
