CPM & BJP strikes ban on demonstrations and public meetings in Trivandrum

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Security has been strengthened following the CPM-BJP violence in the city. The police have banned demonstrations and public meetings for three days. More than 2500 policemen are being deployed in the city so as not to spread tensions. Six cars, including Kummanam Rajasekharan, have been damaged in the attack on the state office of the BJP office.
