Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has praised the efforts of institutions and teachers for their efforts in improving education and meet the growing demands of this society. Al Marri stressed that the development of the security system whilst strengthening partnerships with all communal institutions instills confidence in its members. Educational institutions in particular are key to cultivating the leaders of the future and protectors of this homeland. He also added that the launch of such initiatives is a cornerstone of a strong partnership between institutions that go above and beyond the traditional concept of government. This partnership gives rise to the development of an integrated, cohesive society with national values. This took place during the inauguration of the School Security Initiative.
The initiative was launched in the presence of Marwan Ahmed Al-Sawaleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education; Abdulrahman Nasser, Executive Director of Knowledge and Human Development Authority; Brigadier General Dr Mohammed Ahmed Bin Fahd, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs; Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri; General Mohammed Ahmed Bin Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Ports Affairs.During the inauguration of the initiative, the children of Dubai Police Nursery in Jumeirah presented a technical paragraph followed by an arts performance and a patriotic song. Thereafter, Al-Marri then launched the Eco-Friendly Schools patrols.
