No one has Right to beat someone to death: Says Minister A K Balan

Thrissur :  Shri. A K Balan, minister of law, welfare of SC /ST has said that stringent action will be taken against those found guilty in the incident of the lynching of  a tribal man named Madhu in Attapadi, alleging that he had stolen food  items.

“It is being said that Madhu stealing food items is what provoked the people. Even then no one has the right to beat up some one to death. Those found guilty of this would be given ideal punishment so that this never repeats. I’ve given instructions to the SP for a thorough probe in this case. The culprits will be caught soon",  he said

He added that CM Pinaray Vijayan has also given instructions to the state police chief to take stringent action in this case .

In this connection 7 persons including the guy who has taken the selfie have been arrested and case is resgistered against 15 people.
