Kochi: On July Kerala hotels were once again given rights to sale liquor. On March 31, 2014 the then Kerala government have revoke liquor license to all hotels under 5 star category. Now, the Kerala Bar Hotels Association has issued a petition to the Kerala High Court which denies granting FL-3 license to two-star hotels having bar facility. The association has said that the current policy is that which simulates an ‘abkari’ policy and needs to be revoked. It also said the new policy is extremely discriminatory to two star hotels. The court has sought the government’s view and adjourned the case till Friday.
