Stringent action against those who insulted college principal: CM

Thiruvananthapuram : Talking at the Assembly, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijyan has said that stringent action will be taken against those who insulted the principle of the Kanjangad Nehru College on her retirement day by paying her homage. The CM Said that it was not just a case of insulting womanhood but far beyond that, and assured that action will be taken based on the report by college education director.

Some of the students of the Kanjangad Nehru College had raised flex boards with messages paying homage to the principle, when she was being given a farewell party at the staff room of the college. They also lighted firecrackers at the corridor of the college to celebrate the occasion .It is alleged that the students involved in this are members of the SFI, and them were already handed out suspension.
