The UEFA Champions League is almost at its completion with the remaining 8 teams all set to play the second leg of their respective matches. Let’s take a close look at all 4 matches
Barcelona VS Roma
Barcelona are clear favorites of going through after having an impressive 4-1 lead from the first leg. Roma have all but an away goal under their belt and the fan support. They will be hoping to contain Messi while trying to replicate what Barcelona themselves did 13 months ago against PSG last season. My verdict Barcelona goes through with a 6-2 aggregate.
Liverpool VS Manchester City
No one expected Liverpool to slot in 3 goals in a short span of 30 minutes in the first leg nor did they believe City to leave Anfield without an away goal, but nevertheless they will be hoping their master tactician Pep could produce an impressive night and clear this hurdle. The absence of an in form Salah could also trouble Liverpool if they need those extra goals. My verdict – Game goes to Penalties.
Bayern VS Sevilla
While its true that Sevilla gave the German giants a run for their money in the first half of the first leg, the victory still belonged to the Bavarians and if Sevilla are not careful when travel to the Allianz arena, they could just rack in a lot of goals. My verdict is Bayern goes through with a 4-2 aggregate.
Real Madrid VS Juventus
When the world’s best player is in a form like this, there is hardly anything one can do about it but as a football fan you can always hope he scores another world class goal today as well. Juventus needs to cut back a 3 goal deficient and without their wonder kid Dybala, the task seems tedious and by some miracles if they do pull it back what do you do to stop Ronaldo. My verdict is Real advances with a 5-2 aggregate.
