India’s badminton queens P.V. Sindhu and Saina Nehwal set up the much-anticipated women’s singles summit clash at the 2018 Commonwealth Games after winning their respective semifinals in contrasting fashion, in Gold Coast on Saturday.  CWG 2010 gold medalist Saina defeated Scotland's Kirsty Gilmour 21-14, 18-21, 21-17 while CWG 2014 bronze medalist Sindhu beat Canada's Michelle Li in straight sets. The women's singles final will take place on Sunday. With two star shuttlers reaching the final, India are assured of gold and silver in the women’s singles.
