WhatsApp has released a feature for its Android beta users which allows them to 'Request Money' from other users on the platform. The Unified Payment Interface (UPI)-based payment facility allows users to send money to their friends and contacts. Since the launch, the service has been updated with various features. The latest update is — request money. Users can access the feature in the 'Payments' option in 'Settings', currently in its testing phase. The request is valid for 23 hours and is limited to payments initiated by QR Code or UPI ID.
