Thiruvananthapuram : A Dalit class four employee in the secretariat was transferred to another department after he lodged a complaint against the principal secretary Vishwanath Sinha alleging ill treatment at office. He has been moved to the chief minister’s grievance cell. Meanwhile, no action was taken against the IAS officer Vishwanatha Sinha. In a complaint to chief minister, the employee noted that the principal secretary used to treat him badly in office and was asked to clean up the leftovers after having food.
Service organizations also demanded immediate action on the complaint filed by the employee, a native of Palakkad. But instead of taking action against the principal secretary, the government moved the employee to another department. Service organisations are demanding that immediate action would be taken against principal secretary and warned that they will move to protest if the government neglect their demand.
