An underwater villa, which is being billed as the first of its kind, will open in the Maldives by the end of this year. Known as Muraka, the villa will comprise two floors, with one being submerged underwater. Muraka will feature three bedrooms, a gym, a kitchen, a bar, a dining room, an infinity pool and private security quarters. The residence will allow guests to quite literally immerse themselves in an underwater world in the Indian Ocean. It will join the brand’s undersea restaurant,Ithaa, as yet another pioneering travel experience.
