This year’s Champion’s League has kept us all at the edge of our seats, the same as every season. The semi-finalists earned their spot after fighting tooth and nail for it. Let us check the chance of victories for each of the semi-finalists
- Liverpool: Klopp’s men have advanced to this stage in pretty royal fashion. Having scored 10 and 8 goals against their opposition during both legs in their qualifying match ups. The front 3 look formidable and will be a tough challenge for any defense. Manchester City was the favorites in Quarter Finals but the Reds simply washed them through. Salah is having the best season of his career and the faithful fans will be hoping for his brilliant best for both legs as well.
- Roma: If there is ever a fairy tale waiting to be written it’s that of Roma. They proved that the first leg results don’t mean anything if you can back it up in the second leg at your home. The gladiators are pretty aware that lightning does not strike twice and will be hoping to contain the English team in the first leg
- Bayern Munich: Securing a semifinal spot is not a big deal for the German giants who have rebuild their season under Jupp and would have been clearly favorites to lift the cup if not for Real who stand in their way. Like Boateng said, the Bavarians must defend as a team to stop an in-form Ronaldo
- Real Madrid: Having successfully defended their title last season, the Los Blancos are favorites to lift the cup this year as well but they are highly depended on their talismanic forward and 5 time Balon D Or winner, with the likes of Benzema and Bale not performing in front of goal, the task of reaching a third final will be difficult for the Los Blancos if the german side plays their cards well
