Thiruvananthapuram:  With the aim of having 'onasadya' free of pesticide-ridden vegetables , the Agricultural Department is launching a project to encourage the public to use home grown vegetable for the feast.  The project ‘Onathinu Orumaram Pachakari’ would be launched in Thiruvanathapuram soon.  It aims to rope in 63 lakh families in the state in this endeavour.

The project will be linked to the Haritha Keralam mission and will involve local bodies, kudumbashree units, house wives, students, MGNRA labourers, PSUs, youth voluntary organizations, resident associations and various government departments.
