Cops register case against BJP leader K Surendran

Kannur : Town police had registered a case against BJP state general secretary K. Surendran for the threatening Kannur DySP P.P. Sadananthan and Thalassery DySP Prince Abraham with the intention of preventing them from discharging their duties in connection with the new revelations in Fasal murder case made by an RSS worker.

Police said the case was registered under section 117(e) and 120 (o) of the kerala police Act for  making threatening comments against the police through his social media post, based on the complaint of Kannur DySP Sadananthan.

In his social media post, Surendran had alleged that the two officers were trying to save the accused in the murder case by fabricating a CD that contain the confession of RSS worker, Subeesh and that both of them had scripted the confession drama.

The statement was made after the revelations made by Subeesh were made public, following which Fasal’s brother moved the CBI court seeking further investigation in the case.
