Manohar Lal Khattar was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party in Haryana on Saturday. Khattar is likely to take oath as the Chief Minister of the state for the second term on Sunday. "We have stake claim to form government in Haryana. Governor has accepted our proposal and invited us," he added. Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) chief Dushyant Chautala will take oath as Deputy CM. JJP has supported BJP to form government in the state.
He will go to meet Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya and stake claim to form the state government, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad announced. The swearing-in ceremony will take place on Sunday at 2:15 pm at Haryana Raj Bhawan.
