NewDelhi: The pending CBSE, ICSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams which were scheduled to take place from July 1 to 15 have been cancelled, Centre told the Supreme Court today. Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta said that CBSE Class 12 examinations could be conducted for students who opt for it "as soon as conditions will be conducive."
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has told Supreme Court that it has cancelled the remaining ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 board exams. The exams were scheduled to take place between July 1 and 14. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta informed the Supreme Court that the board won't give an option to students to write exam later.
