Japan startup makes smart mask to let users call, text without accessing phone

Japanese startup Donut Robotics has developed a smart mask that connects to the user's smartphone or tablet through an app via Bluetooth. Once connected, it can be used to make calls and send texts remotely without accessing the smartphone and can also translate from Japanese into eight other languages. The masks are set to ship in September and cost $40.
