Is JEE Main necessary to study BTech in Food Technology?

BTech in Food Technology involves the study of food processing, preservation techniques, and applications related to food engineering used in the food industry. The course aims to enhance the shelf life of the product. JEE Main, WBJEE & Amity JEE are common entrance exams to apply for this course. The general eligibility criteria to study this program is to complete 10+2 with at least 50 - 60% marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
