Washington: United States President Donald Trump posted a video on his Twitter account on Saturday from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, where he is being treated for Covid 19, saying that he will be back soon and will resume campaigning but ‘real test’ lies ahead.
He said, “I am starting to feel good (but) you don’t know over the period of the next few days. So, that’s the real test. We’ll be seeing what happens over the next couple of days.”
US president Donald Trump in his four-minute long video thanked the medical team at Walter Reed who are working round the clock to ensure he recovers swiftly. He said people criticise him but speaking of the treatment administered to him he further added, “We have things happening and they look like they are miracles, coming down from God.”
He said, “I came here. I wasn’t feeling so well… I have to make America great again. We have to finish the job… I have to get back soon.”
The US president said that he was happy to see the American people in a bipartisan manner, came together praying for his recovery. He said, “I am so thankful for all the support whether it is on television or reading about it. Most of all I appreciate what has been said by the American people, almost a bipartisan consensus of American people. I won’t forget it and I promise you that.”
