The European Space Agency has just given the nod to the LISA mission. The mission aims to find the warping of space- time by bouncing lasers off three identical satellites separated by 2.5 million kilometers. The changes in the space –time continuum are generally caused by cataclysmic events. The success of this project would imply the immeasurable advance in the concept of gravity and its fine inner workings. "We have no idea what we will discover, but perhaps we can get closer to the line that divides gravity from quantum physics. This may take us there," said Esa's director of science, Prof Alvaro Giménez Cañete.
