A rare Amazonian cactus called the 'moonflower' bloomed in what botanists believe is a first for the UK. Experts at Cambridge University’s Botanic Garden livestreamed the flowering of the moonflower, which lasts just 12 hours from sunset to sunrise. The plant is believed to be the only specimen in the UK, and worldwide it's listed in only 13 botanic gardens.
