Chadwick Boseman named Best Actor at Golden Globes posthumously, wife accepts award

Chadwick Boseman was posthumously named Best Actor at the 78th Golden Globe Awards for his role in the American drama film 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom'. Boseman's wife Taylor Simone Ledward accepted the award. "He'd say something beautiful...Something that would amplify that little voice inside of all of us that tells you to keep going," she said in the acceptance speech.

'Nomadland', directed by Chloé Zhao, was named the Best Picture - Drama at the 78th Golden Globe Awards. Zhao was named the Best Director at the awards ceremony. Meanwhile, the award for the Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy went to 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'. Andra Day won the Best Actress award for 'The United States vs Billie Holiday'.

Canadian sitcom 'Schitt's Creek' has been named the 'Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy' at the 78th Golden Globe Awards. Meanwhile, historical drama 'The Crown' bagged the 'Best Television Series - Drama' at the awards. Further, Josh O'Connor and Emma Corrin won the Best Actor and Actress award in a Drama series respectively.
