OYO launches quarantine, isolation facilities for COVID-19 patients; Mastercard to donate nearly ₹75 cr to India

To support India's healthcare infrastructure amid the ongoing second wave, hospitality company OYO has launched OYO Care on its app for COVID-19 patients to book quarantine and isolation facilities. OYO has also tied up with over 30 hospitals, government authorities and private companies to provide isolation facilities to healthcare professionals, frontline workers and relatives of patients.

Mastercard to donate nearly ₹75 cr to India to fight COVID-19 crisis

Mastercard has announced a commitment of $10 million (around ₹74.6 crore) for India to support the country amid the COVID-19 crisis. The contribution will focus on access to hospital resources and access to additional oxygen supplies and continued support to its employees in the country, the company said. "The situation in India is gut-wrenching," said Mastercard's Executive Chairman Ajay Banga.
