Discus thrower Kamal Preeth Kaur produced best performance in the qualifying round, as she made it to the finals after finishing second in the games here on Saturday.
The 25 year old, competing in qualification B, throw the discus to a distance of 64m in her third and final attempt.
The other being American Valarie Allman 66.42 m. The final will be held on Monday.
Kaur starts off with a 60.29 m effort and then move on to 63.97 m before attempting the third throw of her 64m.
She has been in impressive form this year as breached 65m mark twice recently. She also won silver, gold, bronze in CWGs and Asian games respectively.
