There is no evidence that any vaccine, including the Covid-19 vaccine, can affect pregnancy. No one has to worry about this. In Pfizer's study, several women in the vaccine group became pregnant. There will be a slight delay in the menstrual cycle after taking the vaccine. But the vaccine does not affect the chances of pregnancy, says Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, a professor and gynecologist at the Yale School of Medicine.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention groups and health experts recommend the Covid-19 vaccine for pregnant women. There is no scientific evidence that receiving the Covid vaccine can affect fertility in both women and men.

Pregnant women are at increased risk for Covid 19 infection. Infection may be asymptomatic or with minor symptoms. The disease is more likely to be exacerbated in pregnant women with symptoms of Covid disease. This is why Covid vaccination is recommended for pregnant women.
