Atlanta : The research team of Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology has developed a plaster to circumvent the use of injection. The plaster makes use of micro needles present in the adhesive side which jabs onto the skin and performs the same function as that of any injection. The user need only place the plaster for a period of 20 minutes and can remove it. The first unit was used for flu vaccines and had been administered on 100 volunteers. The vaccine has already been approved in the U.S.
