Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has decided to open movie theatres after a long break. Theatres will open from October 25. The Covid review meeting held by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan took the decision in this regard.
The guidelines to open the theatres will be prepared prior to opening the theatres. The government took the decision following the frequent requests from people working in film industry.
Entry is limited to 50 percent of the seating capacity in the theatres. Air conditioning also is allowed.
