Nilgiri tourism revives after the covid-19 crisis

Wayanad: Tourism in the Nilgiris, which was in crisis due to covid, is now getting a new lease of life. Tourists began to flock to the district's tourist areas with the decline in the spread of covid and the relaxation of restrictions. Most travelers from the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. 

Currently, the number of tourists in hotels and resorts is increasing. Tourists are allowed to enter only in compliance with strict covid standards including e-pass and certificate of receiving two doses of the vaccine are mandatory.

Apart from the Nilgiris, tourists also visit Ooty, Mudumalai and Masinagudi. The Masinagudi-Gudalur road was closed for two days to catch the tiger which has not yet been found. There are jungle visits and elephant rides in Mudumalai.
